Connecting your office computer to Ethernet through your Cisco phone

If you are faculty or staff, you most likely have one Ethernet data jack in your office or cube, and you've probably been using it to connect your computer to the Internet. Once your desk phone has been migrated to Cisco, that data jack will be used for your new VoIP phone service.

If you want to connect your computer to Ethernet, you will have to connect it to the back of your phone. Look at the back of your phone and plug your cables into the appropriate jacks.

If you need any assistance, please contact your local departmental tech support personnel.
