Obtaining a transcript

Only current students can get an unofficial transcript through CAESAR. If you are an alum or former student, you can only obtain an official transcript.

 

Current Students

Log in to https://caesar.northwestern.edu with your NetID and NetID password, and click Academic Records.

Official Transcript
  1. From the left-hand navigation panel, select Request Official Transcript. If the panel is not visible, press the purple button with two vertical lines on the left hand side.
  2. Click Connect to Parchment for Official Transcript Request.
  3. Follow the prompts within Parchment Exchange to finish ordering your official transcript.
Unofficial Transcript
  1. From the left-hand navigation panel, select View Unofficial Transcript. If the panel is not visible, press the purple button with two vertical lines on the left hand side.
  2. As the Report Type, select Unofficial Transcript, then click Submit.
  3. After loading, there will be a list of requests made, one being the transcript. Check the box next to your transcript and click View Report. Your transcript will display in a pop up window, so make sure your browser isn't blocking pop-ups.

Alumni and Former Students

If you are an alum or former student, you can only obtain an official transcript by ordering it through Parchment Exchange.

Scroll down to the Academic Services section of the page and select either “Current Students” or “Alumni”, as appropriate and then select the category of interest for further instructions
