Open the Start Menu, type cmd or PowerShell and open the application.

Type the following Command and press Enter: netsh lan show interfaces

Look for the State and Authenticated lines in the output.:

State : Connected. Authentication succeeded. — This means you are actively connected and authenticated to an 802.1x port.
- State : Connected. Network does not support authentication. — This means the port is a standard, unauthenticated wired port
