Dual Display Classroom Instructions

Starting the System and Selecting a Source

  1. If the Crestron Touch Panel screen is dark, press it once to wake the touch panel.
  2. Once you see the touch panel image, press the panel again to start the system.
  3. Select a source. Once a Source Selection button is pressed, the system will power on the projector and A/V equipment.
  4. When the Select Projector or Select Display button is highlighted in blue, that screen is active.
  5. Any source you select will be sent to the active screen. Different sources can be displayed on each screen.

Connecting Your Laptop or Device

Laptop

  1. Select Source: Laptop.
  2. Connect the HDMI cable, along with any required adapters, to your device.

Resident PC

  1. Select Source: Resident PC.
  2. If the classroom is equipped with a resident PC, make sure the PC is powered on. It should automatically log in.

Using the In-Room Camera and Microphones

Connect the USB-A cable to your device to utilize the in-room camera and microphones for Zoom.

Connecting to Wireless Solstice

  1. Select Source: Wireless for Mersive Solstice.
  2. Follow the instructions shown on the projector screen.



     

Using the Document Camera

  1. Select Source: Document Camera
  2. Once selected, the touch panel will display controls for the document camera.
  3. For best performance, use the controls directly on the document camera. These controls tend to respond more quickly than the touch panel controls.

     

Touch Panel Bottom Menu Buttons

System Off

Use System Off to shut down the classroom AV system.

Program Volume

Program Volume adjusts the in-room program volume.

When the Program Mute button is underlined in blue, the room speakers are muted.

Microphone Controls

A blue underline on the microphone controls indicates that the microphones are muted.

For rooms with ceiling microphones:

  • Red light – Microphone is muted or inactive.
  • Green light – Microphone is active.

For rooms with standard microphones, use Mic Volume Up/Down to adjust the microphone volume.

Image Mute

The Image Mute button blanks the image being sent from the selected source to the projector.

Displays

The Displays button controls:

  • Display power
  • Raising or lowering the projector screen

Shutting Down the AV System

Select System Off on the touch panel and confirm.
