- On Android devices, the connection type can only be viewed through Manage network settings. You cannot access this setting while connected to eduroam, so first connect to Guest or another available SSID.

Press and hold the eduroam network, then select Manage network settings.

Review the EAP method or check if a User Certificate is listed:

If a Certificate is present, the device is configured for certificate-based authentication.

If not, run the eduroam installer to configure it properly.
