Body
Shifts is a scheduling management tool within the Microsoft 365 suite of products that enables an owner of a team to manage a schedule of their choosing. Shift schedules are bound to each Microsoft team. Shifts can only be created in Microsoft Teams.
Team owners can use shifts to manage work schedules for members of a team, including:
- student workers
- staff volunteers
- vacation
- lab technicians
Once shared with a team, shifts can be viewed in desktop and mobile devices by team members to view their schedule, swap a work shift, or offer it to someone else. Depending on the schedule, open shifts can also be created, allowing team members to choose a shift they would like to work.
