Wired – Mac: How to Verify Connection Type (Certificate or Username/Password-Based)

Open System Settings, then select Network.
Click the Details… icon next to your connected eduroam network.

Select the 802.1X tab or setting.
Check the Authentication type:
- If it shows TLS, the connection is certificate-based.
- If it shows another method, the eduroam installer should be run to configure it correctly.
