Instructions for Manually Enrolling into Northwestern IT Jamf Pro

Intended for NU owned Macs targeted for enrollment using the Apple School Manager method

1. Open the Settings app. If your computer is in scope for enrollment, you should see the message “Enrollment Required” like what’s shown below:

 

2. Click directly on the “Enrollment Required” message above and proceed to select "Start Enrollment":

 

3. After clicking on “Start Enrollment” located in the upper right corner of the dialogue, you’ll then see this message and should click on “Enroll”:

 

4. You should be prompted with your logged in account password – please input your password and click continue:

 

You’ll see screens like these indicating enrollment progress:

 

5. You should receive the final message “Enrollment Complete” and can then select “Quit”.  This concludes the enrollment and you can proceed with your daily work.
