Body
- Connect the Scarlet 2i2 USB audio interface to computer with the USB cable. Both a USB-C and USB A-to-C cable are included.
- Set the Scarlet 2i2 as the input device from your computer's audio settings panel.
- Connect one or both microphones. Use the included XLR cable for longer cable length if needed.

- Download and launch Audacity.
- Select the Scarlet 2i2 as the input device. Set number of channels to mono for a single channel recording or stereo if you are using both microphones.
- Click the microphone icon button


- Select "Start Monitoring".

- Adjust the microphone volume with the front facing dials on the Scarlet 2i2.

- Click the record button in Audacity to start recording and the stop button to end.
- Select File->Export->Export as WAV to save your recording.
- Additional instructions for Windows or Mac computers.
