How to Present From a Laptop in Annenberg 123

 

Present wireless​​​ from anywhere in the room.

  • Open the Zoom app on your laptop.
  • Press Share Screen

  • You may need to change the audio setting on your Mac for sound to play in the room.
  • In Annenberg 123 the correct Output device is named Logi RallyBar

How to Host a Zoom Meeting in Annenberg 123

 

Host a Zoom Meeting

  • Click the Join button on the Zoom Control Pad on the room podium.
  • This will connect the room cameras, microphones, and speakers to the Zoom meeting.
  • There is no need to connect to the Zoom meeting on your laptop.
  • Presenting from a laptop via either method detailed above will share the laptop content into the Zoom meeting.

 

How to Record and Event in Annenberg 123

 

Start a Zoom Meeting

  • Click the Join button on the Zoom Control Pad on the room podium.
  • This will connect the room cameras, microphones, and speakers to the Zoom meeting.
  • There is no need to connect to the Zoom meeting on your laptop.
  • Presenting from a laptop via either method detailed above will share the laptop content into the Zoom meeting.

Start the Recording

  • Click the Record button on the Zoom Control Pad on the room podium.
  • After the recording has been stopped or the Zoom meeting ended, the recording will be available in the meeting owner's Zoom account.

 

How to Get In Class Tech Support

 

Monday – Friday 

8:30 am – 5:00 pm

For immediate tech support during the day please request help via the Dean’s Office. 

To request help by phone please call 847-491-8193. 

To request help in person, please send someone to the Dean’s Office (Annenberg Room 254). 

Monday – Friday 

5:00 pm – 10:00 pm 

For immediate tech support during the evening please request help via the Northwestern IT AV support group. 

Immediate help is available by phone, dial 7-ROOM from a campus phone or 847- 467-7666.
