Northwestern Print: How to upload a file to Northwestern Print using a web browser

Web Print is a driver-less printing service that allows authenticated users to print by uploading documents from a web browser. No client software or driver installation is required. 

Web Print is available to faculty, staff, and students by logging into the Northwestern Print web portal with your netid and password.

Login to https://print.northwestern.edu 

Select Web Print From Menu

Click on "Submit a Job" to upload a file from your device. 

 

Select your Print Role.  You may choose "Faculty & Staff Web Print" or "Student Pay Web Print"

Select the kind of printer you want use to use: BW or Color, and whether you want to print Duplex (2 sided) or Simplex (1 side). 

 

Select the number of copies you wish to print. Then press "Upload Documents."

You may drag or drop files into the upload window or browse for them on your computer.by using the "Upload from computer" button.

When you are done uploading files click on "Upload & Complete."

 

Your files have now been uploaded via Web Print. They are being held in the queue, ready to be released at any Northwestern Print device.

The number of pages and the total cost for the print jobs is shown. If you return to the main menu for Northwestern Print, you will also see the jobs listed under Jobs Pending Release.
