To obtain Extended Security Updates (ESU) for Year 3, you must have previously purchased ESU licenses for Year 1 and Year 2.
- Purchase ESU Licenses
ESU licenses can be purchased through CDW -G on IBuyNU. Ensure that you have proof of purchase for all three years (Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3).
- Submit a TDX Ticket
After completing your purchase:
- Open a TDX ticket.
- Assign the ticket to NUIT-CI-PS-Infrastructure.
- Attach proof of purchase to the ticket.
- Receive and Install Your ESU Key
Once your request is processed, the Infrastructure team will provide you with a product key. You will use this key to activate ESU on your server using the installation commands provided below.
- To activate server run the following command in an elevated command prompt:
slmgr.vbs /ipk <ESU key>
5. to verify it is applied run the following command:
slmgr.vbs /dlv all
