In partnership with Smartsheet, Inc., Northwestern provides a cloud-based project management tool and business workflow tool. Upon purchasing a license, faculty and staff can use the tool to manage projects, develop complex forms, develop visualizations from data, and build out business workflows.
As of Jan 2025, a license is required to create and edit sheets within the platform. This is a change; before this date, Smartsheet required a license only to own sheets.
