Recording with the Scarlet 2i2 USB Audio Interface

Connect the Scarlet 2i2 USB audio interface to computer with the USB cable. Both a USB-C and USB A-to-C cable are included.
Set the Scarlet 2i2 as the input device from your computer's audio settings panel.
Connect one or both microphones. Use the included XLR cable for longer cable length if needed.
Download and launch
Audacity
.
Select the Scarlet 2i2 as the input device. Set number of channels to mono for a single channel recording or stereo if you are using both microphones.
Click the microphone icon button
Select "Start Monitoring".
Adjust the microphone volume with the front facing dials on the Scarlet 2i2.
Click the record button in Audacity to start recording and the stop button to end.
Select File->Export->Export as WAV to save your recording.
