You can now purchase Tango Digital Gift Cards for research participants living in the United States from iBuyNU. There are no extra fees when purchasing through iBuyNU. (To pay participants outside the US, please refer to the commercial Tango Card account procedures.)
After the experiment / interview, researchers should email linguistics@northwestern.edu with the following details:
- Participant contact information: First Name, Last Name, Email address.
- If there are many participants, please provide this in a csv file with columns for FN, LN, Email.
- The participation date. (Note that requests cannot be processed until after the interview / experiment.)
- Dollar amount for each participant. (Only whole dollar amounts are accepted (e.g., $10, $13, $25; no cents).)
- The funding source (Linguistics GRG, faculty discretionary account) or the chart string to be charged.
Payments may take up to a few business days to process. Upon approval, participants will receive an email (sample below) from noreply@tangocard.com with a link to retrieve their reward. Please tell participants to also check their spam folder if they are not seeing the email from Tango within a few days.
