Setting Up the Speaker’s Laptop
Tap the touchscreen to start up the audio/visual system.
On the touchscreen, select "Laptop".
Connect the speakers laptop via the HDMI adapter or the included HDMI-to-USB-C adapter.
From display settings, set the speakers laptop to extended desktop.
Launch Zoom on the speakers laptop, connect to the Zoom meeting
Select "Leave Computer Audio"
In Zoom, select
Share
, then choose the external monitor.
Setting up the Zoom Control Laptop
Disconnect the USB cable from the podium. Connect the USB cable to the USB extension cable and finally connect the USB extension to the Zoom control laptop.
Launch Zoom and connect to the Zoom meeting.
Open Zoom audio settings and confirm that
AVBridge
is selected as the microphone.
Open Zoom video settings and confirm that
AVBridge
is selected as the camera.
From the touchscreen, select
Video Conference
and
adjust the camera angle and framing as needed.
Room Microphones
Two handheld microphones and one clip-on microphone are stored in the file cabinet (stage right).
Ensure that all three microphones have at least 50% battery remaining.
Position the clip-on microphone on the left side, as close to the speaker’s mouth as possible.
Use the touchscreen to adjust the microphone volume as needed.
The belt-pack clip includes a microphone on/off switch. Keep the microphone off until the start of the event, then remind the speaker to switch it on.
Handheld microphones should be passed around to audience members during the question & answer session.
