Installing Tableau Desktop/Creator

Install the Tableau Desktop/Creator

  1. Go to the Tableau Product Trial at https://www.tableau.com/products/trial.
  2. Enter your Northwestern email address, click download free trial.
  3. Find the downloaded file in your Downloads folder and install it.

Entering your key on your computer

  1. Open Tableau Desktop/Creator
  2. Go to Help, Manage Product Keys... 
  3. Click Activate...
  4. Key in your key under Enter product key:, then click Activate.
