What is Microsoft Project?

A project management software that allows for the development of schedules, resource assignment, creation of tasks, assignment of team member to tasks, tracking, budget management, workload review, and the sharing of this information with chosen stakeholders.

Considerations

  • When a Project is to added to a Teams Channel, all team members will be able to see the project whether or not they are assigned a respective task
    • This happens as an email to all members of the chosen channel

  • You must have a MS Project license to perform functions within the Project
    • Without a license you have “view only” access
