The Guest-Northwestern wireless network is for visitors to the University. It is an unsecured connection to the Internet and should not be used to send or receive sensitive information.
Connecting to Northwestern's guest wireless network is a simple two-step process:
- Choose Guest-Northwestern from the list of available networks on your laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
- Read and accept the University's acceptable use policy, then select to connect to the network.
The Guest-Northwestern network should not be used by members of the Northwestern community who have active NetIDs. Note that you will not be able to use Northwestern VPN from the Guest-Northwestern network, nor will you be able to access services that require VPN.
