If you are the owner of a listserv, you can add, remove, and modify permissions of subscribers using either the Listserv Web Interface or email commands.
 
List Subscribers
	- Log in to the Northwestern Listserv Web Interface at https://listserv.it.northwestern.edu .
 
	- Click Subscriber Reports on the left side panel.
 
	- Under Select List, choose the list for which you want to view subscribers.
 
	- The list of subscribers will appears on the bottom page
 
	- You can either view the subscribers in the browser or have an email summary sent to you.
 
 
Add Multiple Subscribers in Bulk
	- Log in to the Northwestern Listserv Web Interface at https://listserv.it.northwestern.edu .
 
	- Click Subscriber Reports on the left side panel.
 
	- Under Select List, choose the list that you want to update
 
	- Next to Add Subscriber, click on Bulk Operations hyperlink where you can upload the txt file
 
	- Create a text document (.txt) with one address per line with each address following the format EmailAddress Name (example: johndoe@northwestern.edu John Doe)
 
	- Make sure to select Add the imported addresses to the list 
 
	- Click Choose File next to Input File and choose the text document of addresses you created.
 
	- Click Import to add all subscribers on your text document.
 
 
Delete Multiple Subscribers in Bulk
	- Log in to the Northwestern Listserv Web Interface at https://listserv.it.northwestern.edu .
 
	- Click Subscriber Reports on the left side panel.
 
	- Under Select List, choose the list that you want to update
 
	- Next to Add Subscriber, click on Bulk Operations hyperlink where you can upload the txt file
 
	- Create a text document (.txt) with one address per line with each address following the format EmailAddress Name (example: johndoe@northwestern.edu John Doe)
 
	- You have 2 options: 
	
		- Remove the imported addresses from the particular list that you select 
 
		- Remove the imported addresses from all the lists 
 
	
	 
	- Create a text document (.txt) with one address per line following this format: EmailAddress Name (example: johndoe@northwestern.edu John Doe)
 
	- Make sure to select the remove option
 
	- Click Choose File next to Input File and choose the text document of addresses you created.
 
	- Click Import to remove all subscribers in your text document.
 
 
Add Subscribers
Northwestern Listserv Web Interface
	- Log in to the Northwestern Listserv Web Interface at https://listserv.it.northwestern.edu .
 
	- Click Subscriber Reports on the left side panel.
 
	- Under Select List, select the list you would like to add subscribers to.
 
	- Enter the Email Address and Name of Subscriber under "Add Subscriber"
 
	- Check Send Email Notification if you want the subscriber to be notified that they are being added to the list.
 
	- Click Update.
 
 
Email Commands
	- Send a plain text email to listserv@listserv.it.northwestern.edu without any subject line, and do NOT include signatures in the message.
 
	- In the body of the email, type ADD LISTNAME email@address firstname lastname (For example: ADD EXAMPLE johndoe@northwestern.edu John Doe adds John Doe to the listserv EXAMPLE).
 
 
 
 
Delete Subscribers
Northwestern Listserv Web Interface
	- Log in to the Northwestern Listserv Web Interface at https://listserv.it.northwestern.edu .
 
	- Click Subscriber Reports on the left side panel.
 
	- Under Select List, select the list you would like to delete the subscribers
 
	- Check the box for the subscribers that you want to remove
 
	- Check Send Email Notification if you want the subscriber to be notified that they are being removed from the list.
 
	- Click Update.
 
 
Email Commands
	- Send a plain text email to listserv@listserv.it.northwestern.edu without any subject line, and do NOT include signatures in the email.
 
	- Type DELETE [listname] email@address (For example: DELETE EXAMPLE johndoe@northwestern.edu removes johndoe@northwestern.edu from the listserv EXAMPLE@listserv.it.northwestern.edu).
