Once you have created a page or post in NUsites, you can use multiple methods to add media like videos and pictures.
Embedding Downloadable Files
Choosing A File
- To embed a downloadable file into a post or page, click the Add Media button.
- At this point, you may choose to Upload Files or select a file from the Media Library.
Upload Files
- In the Insert Media menu, click Upload Files
- In the Insert Media popup, you may drag and drop an image, or click Select Files to locate a file on your device for upload.
- Once you’ve uploaded a file, you will be able to make adjustments to the file.
- Under Attachment Details you can make adjustments to various attributes:
- Title
- Caption
- Description
- Under Attachment Display Settings you can adjust what will happen when users click on the download link.
- Link To – Set a destination URL if a user clicks on the image. By default this is set to Media File and clicking will download the file.
- When finished, click Insert Into Page
- The downloadable file will appear as a link in your content.
Embedding Social Content
To embed content from any of the below supported sites, such such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, all you need to do is paste the URL into your page or post. For example:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXAMPLEURL
That was a cool video.
NUsites will automatically translate the link and embed the content on your page or post. Make sure the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post).

Embedding Videos
If you wish to insert videos into your pages or posts, we recommend you upload to a video platform such as YouTube or Vimeo.
WordPress will automatically convert a YouTube or Vimeo URL to an embedded iFrame.
To embed a video in your post, paste the URL into the body of your post or page. Make sure the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked (clickable when viewing the post). For example:

That was a cool video.
The video will automatically appear when you save the page.
Embedding Image Galleries
Creating a Gallery
- To embed an image gallery into a post or page, click the Add Media button.
- On the left hand side of the pop-up window, select Create Gallery
- At this point, you may choose to Upload Files or select images from the Media Library.
- Click to select which images you’d like in your gallery, and then click Create New Gallery

- Alt Text
- Description
- Under “Attachment Display Settings” you can adjust how your image will appear in your content. You can adjust:
- Alignment – How the image aligns with your text content
- Link To – Set a destination URL if a user clicks on the image.
- Size – How large should this image appear.
- When finished, click “Insert Into Page”
Media Library
- In the “Insert Media” menu, click “Media Library”
- At this point, you may click to select an image to insert into your page or post.
- Adjust the attachment display settings and click “Insert Into Page”
