These instructions are so that you can remote into your FSM PC from your Windows computer. Note FSM IT has to configure your FSM PC to accept remote connection.
- Connect to Northwestern VPN. For instructions on how to set up VPN see Setting up Northwestern VPN.
- Type Remote Desktop Connection on lower left side search bar, near Start button. Then double click to open.
- Click "Show Options"
- Click Computer drop-down box (to find your PC click here Find my PC name [ex. FSM#########.fsm.northwestern.edu])
- In the Username field enter fsmYOUR NETID, then click Connect
- You will be asked to re-enter your NetID password.
- A black screen will popup with blue blue bar up top advising you that you are about to connect to you FSM PC.
