Using sidebars and widgets in NUsites

If your theme supports sidebars or widgets, you can configure them using these instructions.

Activating a Widget

1. Access your site's Dashboard
2. From the left-hand menu, click Appearance, then click Widgets.
3. On the left side of your page, you will see Available Widgets
4. On the right side, you will see the locations in your site which support widgets. These locations are determined by the site theme and cannot be modified.
5. To add a widget to your site, drag it from the Available Widgets column and drop it into the location you’d like it to appear.

Configuring widgets

Click the dropdown arrow on the activated widget to see the configuration options. Each widget has different configuration options.
