It may be necessary to delete your Northwestern exchange email account from the app you are using to read your email when reconfiguring the app to work after migration to Microsoft 365. See below for steps on how this can be done.
Deleting an Exchange account from Outlook for iOS
- Open Outlook for iOS
- Tap your icon or picture in the upper left corner
- Tap Settings (gear icon) in the lower left corner
- Under Mail Accounts, tap your Northwestern exchange account
- Scroll to the bottom of the next page and tap Delete account > Delete
Deleting an Exchange account from Apple Mail for iOS
- Open Settings
- Tap Passwords & Accounts
- Tap Northwestern Exchange
- Tap Delete Account
Deleting an Exchange account from Outlook for Android
- Open Applications > Email
- Open Email Settings
- Tap Accounts
- Press and hold the Exchange Account you want to delete until the Menu window opens.
- Tap Remove Account
- A Warning window will appear
- Tap OK or Remove Account
