Student Health Insurance Enrollment or Waiver in CAESAR

 

To enroll in the Northwestern University Student Health Insurance Plan:

  1. Navigate to CAESAR and sign in using your NetID and password
  2. On the CAESAR Homepage, click on the Profile tile

  1. Click on Student Health Insurance in the left hand menu

  1. Review the Northwestern insurance requirements before proceeding
  2. Select Confirm my enrollment

  1. Click on the checkbox to the left of “Certificate of Accuracy” and select Submit

  1. When the message box appears click Yes to enroll in the Northwestern University Student Health Insurance plan or click No to cancel and return to the Coverage Selection Form

  1. To review your bill in CAESAR (note: the billing cycle runs on the 10th of each month):
    1. Navigate to the CAESAR Student Homepage
    2. Select the My Account tile
    3. Select the View My Account page

 

To waive enrollment in the Northwestern University Student Health Insurance Plan

  1. Navigate to CAESAR and sign in using your NetID and password
  2. On the CAESAR Homepage, click on the Profile tile

  1. Click on Student Health Insurance in the left hand menu

  1. Review the Northwestern insurance requirements before proceeding
  2. Select Apply for a Waiver

  1. Complete the Waiver Application and select Continue with Waiver to proceed with the waiver submission process
  2. Click on the checkbox to the left of “Certificate of Accuracy” and select Submit Waiver Application

  1. When the message box appears click Yes to waive the Northwestern University Student Health Insurance plan or click No to cancel and return to the Coverage Selection Form

  1. An email confirming your waiver will be sent to your Northwestern email address
