Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a cloud-based digital marketing automation system that Alumni Relations and Development (ARD), and their campus partners, use to send out broadcast email communications to their constituents. Marketing Cloud allows administrators to design email templates and content and distribute these messages to segmented audiences using automated workflows called journeys. Marketing Cloud replaces the previous email automation platform used by ARD: Encompass (Our Northwestern).

- Non-ARD Staff whose job functions are housed within a dedicated marketing/communications team.
Note: Non ARD staff who do not work within a dedicated marketing/communications team can request emails be sent on their behalf by an ARD Staff Member. Requests for this service can be submitted to arduserservices@northwestern.edu.

How to Request Service
ARD Project Management and User Services (PMUS) is responsible for assigning access, providing training, and maintaining documentation for the systems that ARD supports.
