Blackthorn (Events)

Blackthorn Events is a Salesforce-native app that Northwestern has configured to work within our implementation of Kindsight’s ascend product. This tool helps manage event registration and reporting by collecting event RSVPs through an online form integrated directly into our CRM. Functionality supports both in-person and online events that require various degrees of complexity.

 

Features and Benefits

Blackthorn administrators can:
• Design and publish event registration forms used for collecting a headcount for free events, or selling tickets to attend paid events.
• Support different types of events including webinars, informational sessions, and live streaming events.
• Collect attendee and guess information in a central place.
• Automate certain event planning tasks such as reports, or automatic attendee emails.
• Integrate with virtual meeting services by creating virtual events directly from an event record.

How to Request Service
