Northwestern offers 1Password, a secure password manager that helps you store, manage, and share passwords, passkeys, and other sensitive information. It integrates with browsers and desktop apps for quick, secure logins and supports strong password generation to improve account security.

How to Request Service

Click the "Request Service" button to the right.

Faculty and Staff (Business Account)

• Click the "Request Service" button to the right and select "Request 1Password Enterprise."
• Once approved, you’ll receive an email invitation. Follow the steps in Accepting an Invite From 1Password to complete setup.
• Northwestern faculty and staff with a 1Password Business account are also eligible for a free 1Password Families account. Follow steps in How to Redeem Your Free 1Password Families Account (Faculty and Staff) to claim your account. 

*Students (Free Families Account)

• Follow the steps in How to Redeem Your Free 1Password Student Account to claim your free four-year subscription. An active NetID is required to access the link. 
• A request form is not needed. You’ll redeem your account directly from 1Password using your Northwestern student email and promo code.
