Photography

The still photography service offers clients the opportunity to capture headshots, live events, and other projects in high resolution digital photos for use in print, web, video, or other media.

Our staff is available from 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, except for designated Northwestern University holidays. Photography sessions may be booked for times outside of normal business hours.

Cost

For most projects, there is a charge associated with these services to cover staff time; all charges must be paid via Northwestern Chart String. Initial project consultation and cost estimation is provided at no charge. Travel costs will be included in the billable total.

How to Request Service

Click the "Request Service" button to the right.

Within your booking request, please specify:

• Location where you desire photographs to be taken
• Time
• What you want photographed, in detail (i.e. number of speakers, buildings, or other subjects)
• How many photos you want
• Desired photo resolution, if applicable
• Final delivery date for edited photos

• This service does not provide rental equipment
• This service does not provide photography printing services

Use of this service is subject to, and implies acceptance of any applicable regulations, including but not limited to:

• Regulations relating to the use of Information Technology Facilities

• Any local policy defined by the unit from which you use this service

Client Responsibilities

• Active engagement with the media production team throughout the entire process of planning, producing, and finalizing project media.
• Timely payment of agreed-upon charges upon the completion of the project.
