OneDrive and SharePoint Storage Quota Alerts

This document contains information on alerts that are received by users once they start approaching their OneDrive and SharePoint storage quotas.

  • The following email alert is sent to the OneDrive owners once their OneDrive reaches 90% of their storage quota.  This alert is sent once a week (over the weekend) while their OneDrive is 90% or above their storage quota. 

           Sharepoint

 

  • The following email alert is sent to the SharePoint site collection owners once their SharePoint site reaches 90% of its storage quota.  This alert is sent once a week (over the weekend) while the SharePoint site is 90% or above its storage quota.

  • The following email alert is sent to the OneDrive owners once they reach their quota. This email message is sent immediately.

  • Users who have reached 90% or more of their OneDrive storage quota will see this yellow bar alert when they click on the “Return to classic OneDrive” view.
