Printing
Printing is available through the campus wide Northwestern Print service. Additional information regarding Northwestern Print is available at - Northwestern Print. Faculty, Staff, and PhD students at SESP should utilize the BW and Color print queues. All other students at SESP should utilize the StudentPay queues. The NetIDs of all SESP faculty, staff, and PhD students should be members of the SESP_ALL_Faculty_Staff_Phd group in ADS. If you are current SESP faculty, staff, or PhD student and are unable to print to either the BW or Color print queues, please Report An Issue and a member of the Dean's Office staff will ensure you are added to the ADS group.
Endpoint Management
All faculty and staff technology devices at SESP must be management with Northwestern's preferred endpoint management tools. currently these tools include JAMF, Crowdstrike, and Crashplan.
Technology Device Lifecycle
- In compliance with the Northwestern Patch Standard, all technology devices, utilized by SESP faculty and staff, and which are connected to the Northwestern network, must be running an actively supported operating system.
- Loaner laptops - SESP maintains a small number of laptops available from short-term loan while a staff or faculty member’s primary computer is being repaired. SESP no longer maintains laptops or tablets for short or long term loan for any other reason.
- Reselling or donation of SESP technology devices - SESP only disposes of technology devices through the official Northwestern recycling program.
