In Cognos 11.2.4 you can set your home screen to whatever you like. In this example. you can set the Team Content to appear when you log on to Cognos. It will prevent you from seeing the tiles and give you a more compact listing. Here's how to do this:
1. Set my location by navigating to the 'hamburger' menu in the upper left corner and choosing 'Content'.
2. From 'Content', I select the 'Team Content' tab if it isn't already selected.
3. I set my view choices from Tile to List via the upper right icons
4. I wanted the Team Content list more compact, so I do this via the 'Settings' icon
5. Now that I'm satisfied with my view, it's time to save it so this is what I see when I logon. I navigate to my Personal menu and choose the blue text Profile and settings:
6. Change to the 'Settings' tab and click on Set next to 'Set home as (current view):
7. You should see a quick pop-up message stating that your custom home view is set:
