Terminated Ports

How to tell whether ports are terminated in the same closet based on the Cable ID label:

  • Ports are terminated in the same closet if the first three characters of their labels are the same

 

Not Terminated Ports

  • Ports are NOT terminated in the same closet if the first three characters of their labels are NOT the same

 



 

Submit a Request in CONDUITS

  1. Go to The CONDUITS Online Login Page 
  2. Click CONDUITS Online Order form
  3. On the CONDUITS Order form, utilize the steps below:

Request Information

  • Service = Select "Jack" from the drop-down menu
  • Request = Select "Activate or deactivate a jack" from the drop down menu
  • Request Details = Select "Jack(s) exist(s)" from the drop-down menu

Service Table

  • Select the jack that is to be activated or deactivated in the Service Table.

 

Request Summary

The selected jacks will appear in the Request Summary.

  • Select "Standard Activation" next to the jack that is to be activated
    • Enter Subnet, if known

Submit Request

  • Department = Select "Department" from the drop-down menu
  • Check the box next to the question if you would like this order to be flagged as a "Rush order"
    • If the box is checked, you will be provided with an option from the drop down menu to select the "Rush Order Rate"
  • Check the box next to the question if this request was submitted on behalf of someone else.
    • If the box is checked, you are required to enter the Requester's contact information below
  • Click = "Submit Request"
