How to use multiple monitors in Windows

The following steps will help configure multiple monitors on your Windows PC.
Connect your laptop to the external monitor via a display cable, hub/adapter, or docking station.
On your PC, select
Start
>
Settings
>
System
>
Display.
From the
Multiple Displays
dropdown select
Extend these Displays.
A prompt will appear,
select
Keep Changes.
Next, to arrange the displays lets first select the
Identify
button. A number will appear on each screen. From left to right make note of the numbers.
Click and drag the monitors in the displays section to match the number arrangement from the step above. Click
Apply
to save the settings.
Verify you can navigate between the monitors properly. If issues persist repeat steps 5-6.
To set your primary monitor which has your desktop shortcuts, select the monitor from the Displays section then go to the Multiple Displays sections where you will enable
