Uploading recorded meetings to Panopto

Panopto can be used for hosting new meetings or events, but you can also upload old meetings to Panopto for storage or sharing.

  1. Access Panopto according to your affiliation:
  2. In the top right corner, click Sign In.
  3. From the drop-down menu, choose NU ADFS, then click Sign In.
  4. Enter your NetID and password, then click Sign In.
  5. In the middle of the grey bar across the top of the page, click Create, then click Upload Media.
  6. Choose a folder to store the file(s) you will upload. You can do this by using the drop-down menu, or by typing the folder's name.
    • If you do not have any folders, click the drop-down menu and choose My Folder.
  7. Click inside the grey box to open a browse window.
  8. Navigate to your file, then click Open.
You will see a loading bar as the file is uploaded. Once the upload is complete, you can close the pop-up window to return to the main Panopto screen.

The file will be listed as "Processing" for a few minutes as the contents are finalized within Panopto. After the file has finished processing, you can view and edit the file by finding it in the appropriate folder from the left-hand menu.
