This solution is being deprecated and will be replaced by SharePoint file requests. Available to any SharePoint site with anonymous/'share with anyone' enabled.
For Northwestern purposes, the anonymous upload portal is built on Microsoft Power Pages that offers a low code solution configured to integrate with SharePoint Online via a simple embedded form- from an externally accessible webpage. The upload portal provides a link to give to 'anyone' (recipients do not need to authenticate). This link will direct the user to a webpage that will allow users to upload files. This is NOT a sharing link. Users will not see the file(s) they upload or the files uploaded by anyone else.
NOTE: current maximum upload file size must be below 125MB.
How it works
Users submit documents for upload by filling out a simple form in a URL that is provided.
- Submitted files will be uploaded to a unique SharePoint document library for storage.
- Uploaders do not have access to the file repository.
- The owner of the document library can review and manage files as needed.
Getting Started
Submit a TeamDynamix ticket to Collaboration Services with the following information:
- DisplayName as shown in the URL: https://nu-uploadportal.powerappsportals.com/<DisplayName>
- Title of Webpage
- Any additional text you would like to have displayed within the title section of webpage.
