Northwestern Print: How to sign into Print Deploy client on Mac

Northwestern Print is only accessible when connected to the Northwestern network via a wired network port, eduroam wireless or Northwestern's VPN.

To install the Northwestern Print faculty/staff print queues, please follow these instructions to sign into the PaperCut Print Deploy Client on your Mac computer.

Note: Each user account on a computer must sign into Print Deploy to install the faculty/staff print queues

1. Open the PaperCut Print Deploy Client

  • Select the green printer icon that represents the PaperCut Deploy Client.
  • Select View my printers.

2. In the PaperCut Print Deploy Client window, select Sign in with Microsoft. This will open a new window in your default web browser.

3. In the Microsoft SSO sign in page, enter your Northwestern email address and select Next.

4. In the Northwestern Online Passport page, enter your Northwestern NetID and NetID password, then select Sign in.

5. If prompted, select Accept to allow necessary permissions for PaperCut Print Deploy to sign in as you for printing.

6. If prompted to stay signed in, select Don’t show this again and then select Yes.

7. After receiving the All signed in and ready to print! message, close the browser tab.

8. You may see multiple printer options; however, the correct ones to use are either "BW" for Black & White or "Color"
