VPN provides you with secure access to University services and the Internet when you are on or off-campus. Please refer to the GlobalProtect Installation Instructions below on how to install, configure, and use the GlobalProtect VPN client on your specific device.
The portal address for GlobalProtect is vpn-connect.northwestern.edu.

Authentication and Connection
Authentication: GlobalProtect requires you to authenticate with your NetID and NetID password and Duo multi-factor authentication. If you need to register a phone for multi-factor authentication, see Registering and managing your devices for Duo multi-factor authentication.
Guest-Northwestern: The GlobalProtect VPN service is not accessible while on the "Guest-Northwestern" wireless SSID.
