Launching Query Studio in Cognos Analytics

This article walks you through the steps for launching and using Query Studio in the new Cognos Analytics interface.

Note: Cognos 11.2.4 will be the last version that supports Query Studio

​​Begin by logging into Cognos Analytics.

Follows the steps below.

  1. Click on the Hamburger Menu button at the top left of the screen
  2. Click on the + New button
  3. Click on Other applications
  4. Click on the Query Studio Link to launch the tool.

Please Note:

  1. The Tool launches in a new Tab. Choose the Package you wish to launch.
  2. There is no change to the Query Studio user interface.
  3. IBM Cognos Query Studio Tool is only supported via Mozilla Firefox web browser.
