Telephone Services

Northwestern Information Technology provides traditional phone services to the Northwestern community that include desk phones, conference room phones and software phone clients. Custom configurations for analog voice service or SIP connections can also be provided upon request and consultation. 

Additionally, several manufacturers including Poly (formerly Plantronics) offer hearing assisted telephone solutions for use with hearing aids as well as for non-hearing impaired users who need more volume than what a telephone can provide.

Cost

The ongoing cost for this service is included in the converged communications charge. New services can be requested at these rates Northwestern IT Service & Equipment Charge List.

 

How to Request Service

Use the 'CONDUITS Request' button to the right.

All students, faculty, and staff can request voice service by contacting a designated work order contact.  Contact your departmental contact for assistance in placing an order for new service. Students should reach out to Student Affairs for phone service in the residence halls.
