Changing your NetID password

  1. Visit NUValidate:
  1. Enter Your NetID:
  • Enter your NetID.
  • Leave the password field blank.
  • Click "Forgot Password?".
  1. Choose Authentication Method:
  • You now have two options to authenticate:
  1. Via Security Questions:
  • Answer two of your pre-established security questions.
  • Follow the password change prompts and click "Submit".
  1. Via Duo Authentication:
  • Click the "Authenticate via Duo" button at the top of the page.
  • You will be redirected to another screen to use your NetID to initiate Duo authentication.
  • After successful Duo authentication, you will receive an activation code.
  • Use the activation code to log in to NUValidate and change your password.
