Service monitoring at Northwestern consists of several “opt-in” products and notification tools that provide application and functional support staff the ability to monitor the performance and health of University applications and respond to events or issues associated with them.
The Service Operation Center can provide management, monitoring, and response services for events generated by applications and servers hosted within the University Data Centers. This is accomplished via a 24x7 Service Operation staff housed in a state-of-the-art monitoring center.
