This ensures that encryption keys are stored in a central location so that a hard drive can be decrypted in the event that a local user forgets his or her password or if a department needs to restore data from a machine that they manage.
After a machine is deployed, these tools help administrators keep their fleet of machines up to date. Capabilities include operating system and software patching, software delivery, and workstation configuration management and remediation.
MDM tools manage and track software and configurations for phones, tablets, and other devices.
As part of workstation deployment or redeployment, imaging tools replace the operating system and software on a computer to meet standards set by an administrator. These tools help build and deliver initial software configurations to user machines.
